TAPA STANDARDS – FAQ Section

I see three different types of audits mentioned in the Standards. Can you explain what they are for?

The three types of audits mentioned in the Standards are: 1. TAPA CERTIFICATION AUDIT - Conducted every 3 years by a TAPA-trained Authorised Auditor (AA) 2. SELF CERTIFICATION AUDIT (FSR Level C and TSR Level 3 only) - Conducted every 3 years by a TAPA-trained Authorised Auditor (AA) 3. SELF AUDIT OR INTERIM SELF AUDIT - Conducted by a representative of the certification holder. An internal process in place in order to monitor compliance, in years two and three, inbetween formal certification audits conducted by an AA.
